Dr Davies is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at University of Glamorgan and a chartered health psychologist. He has extensive clinical and research experience in the psychological aspects and treatment for addictive and eating disorders.

We offer a holistic approach to treating obesity. We aim to achieve and maintain optimal health by combining weight loss surgery with dietary analysis, personal nutritional assessment and weight management strategies.

Ancillary weight loss services include a specialist dietetic clinic for nutritional assessment, dietary advice and guidance for weight loss in general as well as for patients who want additional dietary input after surgery. We also run a regular cognitive behavioural therapy group. This is suitable for both people who have had surgery and those who are undergoing conventional weight loss treatments (eg. dieting, drug therapy).
